How to get to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia

Kranjska Gora is located in north-west Slovenia, close to the borders of Austria and Italy.


By plane (recommended for international travellers)

The nearest airports are:

  • Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU), Slovenia – approx. 1h 15 min by car
  • Klagenfurt Airport (KLU), Austria – approx. 1h 10 min by car
  • Trieste Airport (TRS), Italy – approx. 1h 45 min by car

From all airports, you can continue to Kranjska Gora by rental car, taxi/private transfer, or public transport.
